Are products guaranteed? Is there a warranty?
The products that are supplied to OCER Electronics have been evaluated and will have consistent high quality and adequate stock to supply small, medium, and large order quantities. All orders are carefully checked before being dispatched to our customers. All our products are covered by a 12-month warranty for return and replacement. Are batteries included with my purchase? Because of postal regulations, some standard batteries (e.g. AA, AAA, 9V) cannot be enclosed with the shipments. Digital cameras, Digital Camcorders, MP4 players, etc with integrated rechargeable batteries (e.g. Li-Ion) or product-specific removable rechargeable batteries are fine. Where AC adapters are required we always include them and change them if necessary for different destination countries. How can customers get a refund for returned items? Where the customer has communicated with us and faulty goods are returned using our returns process, a refund can be offered either to the customer's Paypal account or in the form of credit for future orders. Customers can also request replacements of the products. If customers need to replace the faulty items with other items (e.g. if equivalent replacements are required but the original item is no longer in stock) then the customer may be requested to browse our online shop to check out a new order which will be processed with transferred credit from the original order. Are there any taxes that I might have to pay for any of the products I purchase? If you are an Australian customer, your Goods and Services Tax (GST) is included in the product price. For all other countries, we do not add any taxes, VAT or other hidden charges. You pay us what you see on the order screen, i.e. goods subtotal + shipping cost. HOWEVER - In most countries in the world you have to pay taxes on imported goods. That's life. Sometimes goods under a certain value, or in certain categories, do not incur taxes. The rules are different in every country. As our suppliers are based in China, anything you buy from us is going to be imported as far as Customs are concerned. Unfortunately there is no way for us to know the rules, regulations, customs, traditions, practices, loopholes, schemes, systems, paperwork, codes, laws or rulings of every country. As such we cannot, and will not offer advice about taxes in your country. As the buyer, it is your responsibility to find out that information before you order. All items are shipped from China and they will be declared at the lowest nominal market price as a standard assumption. This lowest market price is based on the manufacturing origin and might not be reflective of how much the item will cost you if bought in your local retail market. If you have to pay import taxes and/or additional duties and sales taxes (e.g. VAT in the UK) then you would have to pay that to the courier upon receipt of the package(s) from China. Unfortunately we cannot calculate this for you and there is no way to prepay it. Please find out as much as you can about your import taxes in your own country before completing your order. ******************************************************************************* Regarding import taxes on products delivered from China please consult your local tax office. What Are MP4 Players? MP4 Players are portable video players playing back digital video files in formats such as MPG, MP4, AVI, ASF, AMV. All MP4 Players will play MP3 files (and usually some other formats of music/audio, e.g. WMA, WAV). Most MP4 Players also let you view pictures (JPG) and text (TXT). All MP4 Players connect to PC by USB and can be used for data storage (of any file types) and file transfer between computers. Other features often seen on MP4 Players are: - FM Radio. - Voice recording. - Video-in or audio-in recording from external devices such as TV or Digital Camcorders. - Phone book storage, calendar. - Displays lyrics of songs karaoke style. - OTG (on-the-go) connection allowing direct transfer of data from devices such as Digital Cameras. Basically MP4 Players have a much wider range of functions than MP3 Players and often aren't much more expensive - we really recommend them as hot products right now! Tell me more about DVD Regions. Almost all of our Portable DVD Players are REGION FREE. This means they play ANY REGION of DVD disc with no problems. If the product description makes no mention of regions, this means you can safely assume it is region free. |
