Shipping Policies
OCER Electronics products are shipped by international courier. The shipping rates can be previewed inside our online shopping cart checkout system. Our shipping prices vary for each different delivery location. The major couriers that are used are; FedEx, DHL or UPS. Shipping with these couriers is insured and trackable online. Once your goods are sent out we will email you with a tracking number so you can trace your delivery. In rare cases of lost packages or miss-delivery, full assistance is offered and if necessary insurance claims are made for you whilst shipping replacements to you. Delivery times (like shipping costs) depend entirely on the items you ordered, the size of the order and the destination. The majority of orders arrive to our customers within 10 days of placing an order online. Depending on what you order, your goods could arrive with you in a shorter time frame than that. You also need to bear in mind that Customs clearance in your country could add delays and taxes/fees for the recipient, so check with your local Customs Office. If there are longer delays with an order for some reason we will contact you. If you are concerned that an order is taking too long to deliver please contact us quoting your order number and we will get back to you quickly. Shipping is calculated at 10% of the order. Return Policy Before returning goods, please contact us first to discuss the issues you are having. In over 90% of cases we are able to sort out the problem by giving technical support without you having to send anything back. The returns process for faulty goods is as follows: 1. Customer contacts support detailing the order number, product name / item code, and nature of the problem. 2. OCER Electronics replies authorising the return and providing a returns slip for enclosing with the returned goods. 3. Customer returns the goods by normal post using the instructions on the returns slip. Customer indicates on the returns slip if a refund or replacement is required. 4. OCER Electronics receives the returned goods and informs the customer. At this point replacement or refund requests are clarified if necessary. 5. The goods are checked and a refund/credit/replacement is issued. Replacements are delivered with the shipping cost covered by OCER Electronics, with full tracking details provided, dispatched within 10 days (usually sooner) as per normal orders. Situations in which a full refund is NOT offered on returned goods: If items are returned without a properly completed returns slip we may not be able to identify which order/customer the return is from, therefore we may not be able to complete a refund or replacement. If items are returned without any discussion or without any returns slip, we reserve the right not to provide a refund or replacement or to make only a partial refund. If items are returned using the above process, and are found not to be faulty at all, we will offer a refund of the full goods value only not the original shipping cost. If returned items are received which are damaged by the user or missing parts or key accessories, OCER Electronics reserves the right not to make a full refund. In particular this applies to customers who flash the firmware on MP3/MP4 Players, which, according to our terms constitutes damage to the product. Additionally our definition of 'user damage' applies to attempts to disassemble a product or repair attempts that affect the functionality or removal of installed parts incurring damage to a product without prior discussion. Damaged Goods Policy If, for any reason, there are irremediable defects with any of our products you can return them for repair or replacement under our twelve month warranty. Your orders are checked during the packing stage to make sure that the right accessories are included and that the adapters and other standards (e.g. NTSC/PAL) are correct for your country. A Quality Assurance team tests your ordered consumer electronics products to ensure they are functioning correctly before they are packed and sent to you. This is in addition to the normal quality assurance checks that all the goods have passed in the factory line. All products are covered by a 12 MONTH WARRANTY, for return and repair/replacement. In essence this means that faulty products can be returned by post where they will be repaired or replaced and the new goods shipped back to you. If you have any difficulties whatsoever with the products or you are dissatisfied for whatever reason, you can contact us and we will discuss the issue in an open, honest way. We don't believe companies should ignore their customers or try to hide from problems. We will do our best to deal with your enquiries promptly and helpfully. |
